Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actress known for portraying strong but vulnerable characters. Linney is a member of a family of actors her father was a playwright, Romulus Linney. She earned a degree in Arts Theatre School, Moscow in 1986. She then completed an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City 1990. In the year 1990, she began her career in shows on Broadway eventually earning praise for her performances as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
